Become a Friend of Gillespie Park

 

​The Friends of Gillespie Park Committee meets from time to time and has its AGM in the spring, when you can enjoy a guest speaker and have a glass of wine. We also help organise several community events each year with the team at Islington Ecology Centre. If you want to become a Friend of Gillespie Park please send an email to ecologycentre@islington.gov.uk and they will pass your email on to us.

Help support the Nature Reserve

The Nature Conservation Team, based in the Ecology Centre, Gillespie Park, run a weekly volunteering session every Thursday. They carry out a wide variety of tasks including: meadow-cutting, coppicing, hedge management and pond maintenance.

Morning session is 10am - 12pm

Afternoon session is 1.15pm - 3.15pm
